What data we collect and why

When you submit our contact form, the following information is collected and processed by us and our form provider, Formspree (formspree.io):

• Your name and email address
• Details about your pet(s): name, breed and age
• Your requested sit dates
• Any additional information you choose to share (area, routines, medical needs)

We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you proceed, to arrange and carry out your pet sitting service. We do not use it for marketing without your explicit consent.

Our lawful basis

Under UK GDPR, we process your data on the basis of legitimate interests (specifically, to respond to an enquiry you have initiated) and, where a sit is confirmed, to fulfil a contract with you.

Data storage and third parties

Enquiry data is submitted via Formspree, which stores form submissions on servers in the United States. Formspree is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and operates its own privacy policy, available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy. We retain your enquiry data for no longer than 12 months, unless an ongoing service relationship requires otherwise.

Where you have given consent to analytics cookies, your browsing data is processed by Google (Google Analytics 4) and Microsoft (Microsoft Clarity). Both operate under their own privacy policies and may transfer data to servers in the United States.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties for marketing purposes.
