How much does a pet sitter cost in London?

Short answer: in-home overnight pet sitting in London costs £45–£65 per night with Paws & Quarters — £45 for cats and small pets, £55 for small dogs (under 10kg), £65 for large dogs (over 10kg) — plus £10 per night for each additional pet. Weekly and monthly stays are discounted. Every sit includes a free meet and greet and daily photo updates.

With more than one type of pet, the sit is priced at the rate of the most expensive pet, plus £10 per night for each additional animal. A 25% deposit secures the booking, and a Christmas and New Year surcharge may apply. You can get an exact figure in about a minute with the quick quote calculator.
What affects the price of pet sitting in London
- Overnight vs drop-in. Our rates above are for full overnight sitting — we live in your home for the whole trip. Drop-in visits (20–30 minutes, once or twice a day) are cheaper wherever you buy them, but leave your pet alone for most of the day and your home empty.
- Size and species. Dogs cost more than cats because they need walks and can't be left; large dogs need longer walks and bigger meals.
- Number of pets. A flat +£10 per night per extra animal with us — this is where in-home sitting starts beating boarding, which charges per pet.
- Length of stay. Our 7-night and 28-night rates work out meaningfully cheaper per night than short stays.
- Dates. Christmas and New Year carry a surcharge almost everywhere in the industry, including with us.

Two honest observations from inside the industry: for a single cat, a cattery is usually the cheapest option on paper — the price you pay is the stress of relocation.
